Lay Leadership at Christ Church
What is a vestry?
In the Episcopal Church, important decisions in the life of a parish are made by a group of elected church members known as a vestry. At Christ Church, our vestry comprises six members who are nominated at the annual parish meeting for a three-year term of service. Read more about what a vestry does here, or check out our parish's by-laws to learn more.
When does the CEC vestry meet?
CEC Vestry meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month, and are open to all church members. To view the minutes from previous meetings, see the Vestry Meeting Minutes Archive below.
