Want to get involved? |
Red Door Jubilee Center operates a neighborhood food pantry for
residents of Downtown Cape Girardeau with support from the community, as well as the SEMO Food Bank in Sikeston. The pantry is located at our business office (38 N. Fountain Street.), and is open on Mondays from 10 – 11 a.m., and on Thursdays from 10 – 11:30 a.m. The Red Door Food Pantry serves the immediate neighborhood surrounding Christ Episcopal Church. Please bring a photo I.D. with you in order to request assistance from the pantry. Due to our limited resources, we are only able to provide groceries for those who live within the green square shown on the map to the right (click the map to enlarge it). |
community suppersOn the last Sunday of each month, Red Door Jubilee
Center coordinates a free home-cooked meal that is open to everyone in the community. The Red Door Community Supper is held in the Parish Hall at Christ Episcopal Church (101 N. Fountain St.), and meals are served from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. If you would like to volunteer to cook or help serve at one of our Community Suppers, call the Red Door Jubilee Center office at (573) 335-2997, or email Joshua Smith (ministryintern@christchurchcape.org).
